Donald G. Cheever was born in Macon, Missouri, December 22, 1943. He received his Bachelors degree from Central Missouri 

State University, Warrensburg, Missouri, in 1964, and a Master of Arts degree from Central Missouri State University in 1965. 

Thereafter, he taught school and coached football until entering law school at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, in 1969.

Following graduation from law school in 1972, he, his wife Linda, and their two children, moved to Marshfield, Missouri, where he 

practiced law until his election as Associate Circuit Judge in November of 2006. His current term will expire December 31, 2010.

For 28 years he served as Webster County Prosecuting Attorney. He and his wife Linda have been married 44 years. Their two

children and three grandchildren live in Springfield, Missouri. Hobbies include golf and fishing. Address: Webster County Courthouse,
